Hampshire House

Hampshire House is at 84 Beacon Street in Beacon Hill, overlooking the Boston Public Garden. The official site positions the historic house for weddings, rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, and private events rather than as a general restaurant reservation venue.

Its rooms are sold by floor. The second-floor Library and Baker Bar can seat 85 for a plated meal or host up to 200 for a reception-style event; the third-floor Thayer, Abbott, and Codman rooms can seat 60 for a plated meal or host up to 100 for a reception. Hampshire House says it has kitchens on each floor and provides full in-house catering, tables, chairs, staffing, glassware, cutlery, linens, and related event items.

There is no outdoor event space or seating on the property, according to the venue FAQ. The site also says a wheelchair lift, elevators, and an accessible bathroom are available, while noting elevator dimensions. The venue publishes food-and-beverage minimum and rental-fee structure, but not a universal wedding total; both vary with date and time.
